Out of county service - must contact that county.  Then that county sends their fee along with our fee.

APPLICATION FOR A PENNSYLVANIA LICENSE TO SELL FIREARMS

This must be completed and submitted at our office.

Cost: $ 57.00

You will need to provide:
Driver's License
Social Security Number
Federal Firearms License Number
Sales Tax License Number
Business Name and Address

If ownership is a partnership or corporation you will need to list name, date of birth and social security number of all responsible persons on the application.

License must be renewed every three (3) years.



COSTS OF SALE POLICY

The advance fee for Sheriffs Sale will now be $2,000.00, made payable to the Crawford County Sheriff

Also, any additional payments due for the costs of a sheriff sale MUST BE paid in full no later than the Monday following the scheduled sheriff sale. If the payment is not received by the Monday following the sale, the Crawford County Sheriff s Office will declare the
sale NULL AND VOID, due to nonpayment of costs.

Your office can contact the Sheriff s Office the Tuesday prior to sale and request the costs of sale to date. The costs will be figured at that time as if no other party will be bidding on the sale. Therefore, it should not be a problem of knowing the additional costs. If, however, there is additional bidding, you will be responsible for contacting our office after the scheduled sale for the adjusted figures to be payable on the following Monday.

In addition to all costs being paid in full, it is also required that the Realty Transfer Tax Statement of Value forms be mailed to our office within one week of the sale.

Sheriff's Requirements:

1.  (3) Copies of Legal Documentation 
     (12 pt. Font or larger only please!)

3.  Affidavit pursuant to Rule 3129.1
(See Sample 'C')

4.  Copies of Notice of Sheriff Sale for Each
     Defendant and one extra for the Sheriff's
file.

5.  Copy of Affidavit of Service upon Lien Holders.
    Service upon all Lien Holders must be made by
    
Attorney for Plaintiff, by Certificate of
    Mailing
. Original to be sent to Prothonotary for
    filing and one for the Sheriff's file. Must be filled
    by Thursday prior to sale or sale will be continued
    or pulled.

6.  If sale is pulled we need an Affidavit of Settlement
     Amount.

7.  If sale is held we need two (2) original signed
    copies
of the Realty Transfer Tax Statements of
    Value along with the balance of any costs due.

APPLICATIONS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., MONDAY - FRIDAY.

***ALL SIGNATURES ARE REQUIRED IN PERSON***
*** You MUST be 21 Years of age to apply for a Concealed Weapon Permit ***

Cost: $20.00 -  Includes a laminated LTC card with photo

You will need to provide:

  • Required Identification: Applicant must provide Government issued ID that has a photograph of the individual, name, date of birth, current residence address, and signature. All is required for a background check.
  • Two references (name address and telephone number) No Relatives

If you are applying for a permit and you live out of state - we will need to make a copy of your valid License to Carry from your home state, for our records.

License must be renewed every 5 years

If your name has changed AFTER being issued a permit, we will notify Harrisburg for you, free of charge, but you MUST provide us with proof of change. (i.e. Marriage License).

*NOTE: A license to carry firearms is not a license to purchase. Individuals who purchase a firearm from a licensed dealer are required to have a background check conducted regardless of whether they have a license to carry firearms or not.
