Christopher is a lifelong Linesville resident, having graduated from the former Linesville High School in 2006 and subsequently from Allegheny College in 2010 with a double major in Political Science and Music. In 2005, he launched a successful bid for Mayor of Linesville Borough and was re-elected in 2009 as both the Democratic and Republican nominee. He joined the Linesville Borough Planning Commission not long after and is currently serving as vice chair of that body. In 2011, he was elected to the post of Linesville Borough Auditor and in 2013, following a vacancy in the office of County Auditor, Seeley was appointed to serve the remainder of the term. He went on to win the office outright in 2015 and again in 2019. During his decade of service in the Auditors’ Office, he diligently worked to forge new interoffice partnerships and to expand the involvement of the Auditors’ Office in county policymaking and general operations. He concluded his service as a County Auditor, including two years as board chair and a year as the Pennsylvania State Association of County Auditors President, upon his election as a Crawford County Commissioner in 2023.
Christopher is a dedicated public servant both in and out of his occupation. He serves in leadership positions with many organizations across the region including the Rotary Club of Meadville, Pine Masonic Lodge, Greendale Cemetery Association, Meadville Community Theatre, as well as numerous other fraternal, service, political, and non-profit entities. When not on the job for the county or a club or organization, he enjoys performing music, hunting and fishing in the beautiful Pymatuning Lakeland region, woodworking, and traveling across Pennsylvania in search of outdoor and culinary recreation.
