Cares Act Funding - Agriculture & Fairs

​Agriculture & Fairs

If you are an agricultural business or fair in Crawford County you are welcome to apply for Cares Act Funds that a portion will be available for agriculture and fairs. Please submit a letter with the following information included:

  • The type of agricultural business 
    • Dairy, Beef, Crops, Vegetable/Fruit, Timbering, Maple or Honey Production, etc. 
  • Any expenses or losses due to COVID-19  
    • With documentation such as copies of receipts for the expenses and 3 to 5 years of history showing the loss for this year  
  • Any COVID related funds that may have already been received from other sources 
  • Any other information that you feel would be helpful to support your request

ABOUT CRAWFORD COUNTY

The County of Crawford lies in northwestern Pennsylvania. Originally it was inhabited by the Iroquiois Indians and other tribes and nations. In later years, the land was acquired by a group of Dutch investors under title of the Holland Land Company and resold to settlers. The Commonwealth allocated land to its Revolutionary War soldiers as a bonus settlement. The county was formed in 1800 from a portion of Allegheny County and named after Colonel William Crawford, an early military hero and close friend of George Washington.
