***Please note: This office serves Crawford County, Pennsylvania***
The Crawford County Mapping and Addressing Office is run by the Public Safety Department. The day to day operations include assigning and verifying 911 addresses for Crawford County residents. We also provide mapping of various sizes and geographic areas to the public, as well as various local, state, and federal government agencies, and local and neighboring emergency services. We can produce standard county maps, specific townships, or custom maps (some restrictions apply).
911 addresses are established by a grid system utilized throughout the state of Pennsylvania. They are not only used by the United States Postal Service, but by local emergency services such as police, fire, and EMS. Having a valid 911 address clearly posted at your residence is vital in locating your residence in the event of an emergency. Just because mail is not recieved there, does not mean a valid 911 address is not required. The address must be clearly visable from the road accessing your residence/business. Any questions can be directed to the Mapping and Addressing Dept, located in the basement of the courthouse in room B-2 by the vending machine across from the entrance to the assembly room from inside the courthouse, or by contacting...
