***Please note: This office serves Crawford County, Pennsylvania***
The Crawford County Addressing Office is run by the Public Safety Department. The day to day operations include assigning and verifying 911 addresses for Crawford County residents.
911 addresses are established by a grid system utilized throughout the state of Pennsylvania. They are not only used by the United States Postal Service, but by local emergency services such as police, fire, and EMS. Having a valid 911 address clearly posted at your residence is vital in locating your residence in the event of an emergency. Just because mail is not received there, does not mean a valid 911 address is not required. The address must be clearly visible from the road accessing your residence/business. Any questions can be directed to the Addressing office, or by contacting...
