The Crawford County Geospatial Information System (GIS) & Mapping Office is located within the Crawford County Courthouse in Meadville, Pennsylvania. The day to day operations include creating/maintaining GIS data and services, training county staff, and providing public mapping (digital and paper).
The mission of Crawford County GIS is to improve on the efficiency and effectiveness of the county government operations as well as provide easy to access information to the public and in those efforts, save tax dollars.
We provide maps of various sizes and geographic areas to the public, as well as various local, state, and federal government agencies. We can produce standard county maps, specific townships, or custom maps (some restrictions apply). Any questions can be directed to the GIS & Mapping Office, located on the first floor of the courthouse. GIS can be contacted via

911 address assignment, verifications/validations, and assistance is also provided by Crawford County GIS. For more information, please visit the 911 addressing website

email. Please note, as of January 1st, 2021 no 911 addressing business is conducted from the Public Safety Building located on Pine St.

The
Property Search web application has additional property services available via the information pop-up window from the tax parcel layer (found by clicking on any tax parcel on the map). These additional services will allow users to request a 911 address, request assessment reviews and report changes to properties within the county (construction/demolition) from the Assessment Office, and more.
