INMATE FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
HOUSING COST
Effective November 1, 1999, sentenced inmates housed in general population are financially responsible to pay a portion of the housing costs while incarcerated.
Currently, the required portion is $10/day of incarceration. This excludes any time the inmate spends in the work release housing unit, as an inmate worker, and on temporary transfer.
